2010 was the year we renovated – our home, and the country estate. JJ took this picture in the front yard of our home as we shlepped soil to the veggie patch. I’m wearing pink canvas shoes with thick University of Oregon football socks. It was winter, man! The cardie came on and off all day as the work got harder or slowed down. Dad was there the whole day, like a trooper. Renovating can be a mess but when it’s over, the feeling is pretty grand.
